Election observation

Citizen election observation enables civic oversight of the electoral process. The role of a citizen observer is similar to that of a party or candidate representative (mąż zaufania), with one key difference: citizen observers are not delegated to polling stations by political parties or electoral committees, but by registered associations and foundations in Poland whose statutory objectives include promoting democracy, protecting civil rights, and strengthening civil society. At the Political Accountability Foundation, we adhere to the principle that citizen observers must maintain strict impartiality in their work.
